Çağlar Kaçar has participated as a speaker at the Inaugural Cross-Border Corporate Insolvency & Commercial Law Research Group Conference & Symposium 2017.

Çağlar Kaçar shared his expertise and knowledge on the topic “Treatment of Executory Contracts in Turkish insolvency law”. The symposium took place at the City, University of London on 6 April 2017 and brought together academics, practicing lawyers and other experts who presented a broad range on insolvency law.

In his report, Çağlar Kaçar, summarised the insolvency procedures available to a Turkish corporation in distress under the current Turkish insolvency legislation and the main reform drivers and influencers in Turkey and analyzed the subject in three titles respectively; effects of reorganization procedures, effects of bankruptcy liquidation and enforceability of ipso facto provisions.
